Drinking coffee is an important event in many cultures, and if you love a strong and aromatic brew, then you should try to make a cup of Arabic coffee at your own home. The brew is so potent, it should be able to easily wake you up to kickstart the day.
This coffee brew is traditionally made in a dallah, which is a small pot commonly made from brass. And, instead of having a specific measurement, this way of making coffee involves a “heaping spoonful” of finely-ground coffee.
You will also need to prepare a tablespoon of ground cardamom to make this recipe. On top of that, this recipe requires only 1/4 cup of water.
Once you already have all the ingredients, you should mix them inside the dallah. If you can’t find the specified pot, you can just use a small sauce pot as an alternative. Next, put the put over a medium boil and bring the mixture to a boil.
Immediately reduce the heat to low after it boils and wait around 15 minutes. The longer you wait, the stronger the coffee will be. Next, carefully pour the mixture into a small cup and enjoy it with a few small bites.
